environmental services. Our staff has a diverse and extensive background in quality
environmental compliance, investigative, remedial and permitting services.
- Underground Storage Tank (UST) services
including tank registration and permitting documents, compliance reporting, tank removals,
Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) site characterizations, work plan development and
implementation, groundwater monitoring programs, feasibility testing, corrective action
plans, health-based risk assessments, innovative remediation methodologies, and site
closures.
- Soil and groundwater remediation services
including free product removal techniques, EPA/ASTM health-based risk assessments, in-situ
and ex-situ bioremediation, air sparging, dual phase extraction, soil vapor extraction
(SVE), thermal desorption and natural attenuation.
- ASTM Standard Phase I Environmental Site Assessments
(Phase I ESAs) including site observations, site histories,
regulatory agency file reviews, air photo interpretation, interviews, waste stream
analysis and transaction screening services to comply with "due diligence"
requirements of the "innocent landowner clause" as defined in the Comprehensive
Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA).
- Regulatory compliance audits
including Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), CERCLA and Superfund Amendments
and Reauthorization Act (SARA) compliance consulting, evaluation, sampling, waste stream
analysis, regulatory negotiation and reporting. This includes preparing permit
applications, sampling plans, corrective action plans, closure plans, hazardous waste
management plans, conducting regulatory compliance assessments and environmental audits,
developing strategies for achieving and maintaining compliance and performing successful
negotiation and regulatory liaison services.
- Water and wastewater services
including pollution control technology requirements as defined under the Clean Water Act
of 1972 (CWA). These services include Aquifer Protection Permitting (APP) and
applicability submissions; National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES)
permitting including Notice of Intent (NOI) and Notice of Termination (NOT) paperwork,
Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), and Spill Prevention Control and
Countermeasures (SPCC) permitting, groundwater assessment, sampling and monitoring,
hydrogeologic evaluation and domestic water system sampling.
- Solid waste services including
landfill siting criteria, land application permitting and compliance, methane-extraction
well installation and monitoring, groundwater monitoring, well compliance sampling and
monitoring.
- Air Quality permitting and compliance
including pollution control technologies. These services include stack emission
sampling, new facility permit evaluation of ambient air quality from other sources,
modeling and management.
- Expert witness testimony
including second and third party review, litigation support, testimony in and out of the
courtroom and deposition questionnaire preparation.
